David

David had been training in the gym for some time before starting with TEAM Fitness Personal Training. However prior to his training with TEAM he was not getting the results that he was after and as you can see in the amazing photos below once he got his training and nutrition on track he achieved some amazing results with TEAM, and this was only his first 12 weeks!

Patti

Peter

When Toni started she had never been to a gym before and was quite nervous about the whole experience.  Toni did the right thing by getting quality training and support from TEAM and not only achieved amazing results of losing over 15kgs in the first 16 weeks, but has continued training and is now fitter than ever!

Josh Marks - 2008 Body Transformation Challenge Winner

I lost 24.8 kgs in 16 weeks while training with TEAM Fitness.joshfront

Not only did I achieve some amazing results that have changed my life but I also claimed the winning prize of the Body Transformation Challenge in Canberra and took home $5000 on the presentation night.

The results that I achieved while working with TEAM Fitness were amazing; I could not have done it without the structured approach to training and nutrition that TEAM Fitness developed.  I received a full comprehensive nutrition layout with helpful tips and recipe ideas, as well as a new training program every 6 weeks.

The personal training sessions where tough but I enjoyed them so much, and I could see the weight falling off and my body getting tighter every week. I have now incorporated more sessions into my week.

I am so happy with the changes that I have made to my health and fitness and it has now become a way of life for me.  It has been over 6 months since I lost the initial 24.8kgs with TEAM Fitness Challenge and I am sure I will never go back to the large clothes sizes that I had to buy before.

I believe that with the continued support and motivation that TEAM Fitness deliver I will keep the weight off and continue to train and progress my goals and results even further.

I know as well as anyone that the hardest part is getting started but my biggest advise would be to just get in there and do it and get some quality training and advise that I did, don’t waste time trying to work it all out for yourself, get with the TEAM and make those changes that you want today!  If I can do it, I believe you can too!

 

 

Toni Heferen

My first experience with TEAM Fitness began in 2005.

My husband brought home a flyer advertising a Body Transformation Challenge. I had had my 3rd child 6 months earlier, and was getting depressed and frustrated by my inability to lose all the weight I had gained through pregnancy (plus I had been battling with being overweight most of my life). It was a really tough decision for me to enter the TEAM Fitness Challenge – I was extremely self conscious and not at all confident in a gym environment.

Participating in the program with the professional support of TEAM Fitness meant I didn’t need to worry about my inexperience in the gym. The trainers were very helpful and supportive.

I have been successful losing weight in the past – but each time I have regained the weight. My experience with the challenge was different. I didn’t have the very rapid weight loss initially – it was steady at about a kilo a week. I did not plateau and the rate of weight loss actually increased as the program progressed. Losing quite a bit of weight in a relatively short period of time meant I didn’t lose motivation and combining nutrition and exercise meant the weight has stayed off.

Within a few weeks of starting the program with TEAM Fitness I knew this was not going to be a ‘fad’. It was going to be a new (and much better) way of life. Part of that would mean investing in a personal trainer and for most of the past 5 years I have. The benefit of a trainer is considerable for me.

Accountability is probably number one. I have someone watching out for me; each session is gruelling, so if I don’t do some hard yards in between sessions, I’ll pay dearly. Trainers have also provided me with great support. I am far more confident in the gym now and can design my own programs, incorporating exercises from my PT sessions.

I am so glad I started training with TEAM Fitness. It really has been life changing for me. I have gone to being relatively inactive and unfit, to doing 5 or so sessions a week with much improved fitness. I know I am a much better role model for my children in terms of both nutrition and fitness. I am thrilled that it is now 5 years since my initial weight loss and I have managed to maintain that loss.

 

Vanessa Beck

I have been training with TEAM Fitness for what seems like forever!  I originally signed up for the Body Transformation Challenge because I was in a bit of a rut with regard to my fitness and exercise program and since then I haven’t looked back!

I am fitter and healthier now than I’ve ever been, and I have so much more energy than ever before (and I’m in my late 40s).

Since joining TEAM Fitness I’ve accomplished many things. I’ve done the City to Surf four times and every year my time for the event has improved significantly.  Last year I took ten minutes off my previous time!

I’m now working on building some lean muscle and changing my body shape, and I know I’ll get there with their help and support.

The information, advice and support I get from my Personal Trainer is invaluable – especially my training program and nutrition information. I could never have achieved so much without her support and motivation.

Everything from TEAM Fitness is great – I’m especially impressed with the value for money, the support the trainers provide, their expertise and the end results.

 

Jenny Heald

It’s been a fantastic journey training with Chris and TEAM Fitness.  I did my first Body Transformation Challenge in 2008 and since then each season I have built on the previous which has enabled me to continue to achieve better results.

I’m fitter, stronger and leaner, and in better nick than most people half my age. I love that!

Nutrition is probably the biggest challenge and takes time and practice to achieve, but the steps TEAM Fitness has given me and the changes that I have made along the way by following a structured and nutritional sound plan means the results I’ve achieved are definitely for life; I wouldn’t give it up for anything.

 

Zoe Routh

In 2005 I'd just finished three months of chemotherapy after surgery for cancer. I was broke, unfit, and pretty weak. I turned to Chris Lonsdale for some assistance to get back on track health wise. I did the Body Transformation program, lost an incredible 7kg, and ran a marathon 7 months later. I've been training with Chris ever since - he is brilliant! What I appreciate about the personal training is the ongoing encouragement, the motivation when he grunts, "just two more - you got this" and the accountability when he asks me every week about my nutrition and exercise routine. It's motivating to do the right thing when someone is going to check up on you! The nutrition plan has made the biggest shifts in my physique, and together with the customised and ever-changing fitness routine I have never looked this good.

What the training has meant for me: for as long as I can remember I have been uncomfortable in my body, never really pleased with it, always frustrated with the extra 'bubble wrap'. I can't tell you how liberating it is to be free of negative thoughts about my body, to feel proud of my shape, to feel strong, and fit and healthy, especially after being so low after cancer. Chris has helped me achieve great fitness goals, and more than that - he has helped me find confidence and pride in my physique; as far as I am concerned, that's worth more than anything I have ever paid in trainer fees - I'd pay it all again and twice over to feel this good! Thanks Chris :)

 

Rob Heferen

Overall experience with TEAM Fitness has been excellent.  Working with my trainer has been the main reason I’ve been able to change my weight from just over 105 kg to being consistently less than 90 kg.  It has also helped me improve my fitness and flexibility.  It provides focus, motivation, the necessary tools and the required support to get at one’s goals, and more than anything it makes you accountable.

Value for money is very high with TEAM Fitness and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to make positive changes to their weight and general health conditioning.
